YOUTH FESTIVAL
In this session i.e 2010-11 in the Punjabi University Youth Festival the students begged IIIrd position in Folk Song and IInd position in Solo song.The winners participated in the Inter zonal youth festival wins silver medal in solo song.One of our student became winners of silver medal in Khuddo making in folk festival of the University.

Physical exercise helps to keep the body and mind
healthy.Under the guidance of our Physical education teacher Mr.Dalwinder singh the college organized 5th Annual Inter College Athletic Meet. Volley Ball, Kho kho, Race, Short put, Discuss throw as well as indoor games like Chess, Carrom board etc. was organized and actively participated by the students. For those who were unable to participate in the above events, there were provisions for funny games for them.Mr.Yograj Singh was the chief guest where as D.S.P.Lehragaga inaugurate the programme.The students organised 9 k.m marathon race before the event.
Rally on Dangers of Drugs Addiction
One day rally on dangers of drugs ddiction carried out in Lehragaga. Mr.Mohan Sharma,project director,Deaddiction Hospital,Sangrur address the students regarding The ill effects of drugs.
Youth Festival
In the session 2009-10 our students participated in Youth Festival of the University in One Act Play,Poem recitation,Rangoli,Cartooning,Quiz competition and winners of one act play. The winners of one act play participated in Inter zonal Youth Festival,P.U.Patiala and begged Best Actress title by Ms.Supreet Sharma.The staff and the students of the college participated in youth festival organized by self financed colleges of Education and winners of Quiz competition,Essay writing,Short story writing,folk song,rassa batna,Nala Bunana,poster making ,Histronics,Fulkari and Again the winners participated in Inter zonal youth festival of self financed colleges,organised by Rayat & Bahra Group of colleges,Kharar and winners of Short story and essay writing,Quiz,poster making,Histronics.
Convocation
The college organise the convocation programme on 29-12-2009.Honourable Bibi Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, Ex.Chief Minister and Leader of the opposition(congress) was the chief guest and deliver the convocation address and Dr.J.S.Sidhu Director ,Baba Hira Singh Bhattal Institute of Engineering and Technology preside over the function.
PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
Two day workshop on Personality Development programme by Academy for Learning Technique Research and Training (ALERT),Gurgaon was conducted on 25th & 26th February 2011.The main theme of the workshop was Employability Skill Development Programme for students. The teams of the experts also organize separate session for the staff under the theme Faculty Development Programme. They demonstrate different employability skills like-workplace manners, Resume writing, facing the interview, dress sense and communication strategies etc.
TARKSHEEL SOCIETY
Mr. Harinder Lali, Advocate delivered a lecture on Science & Spirituality. He give examples of instances of blind belief of the society. He urge the students not to be superstious and scientifically analyse the situation.
NSS CAMP
Our college has a separate wing of N.S.S. The N.S.S volunteers take active part in social welfare and community development programmes. This year we have organized 7 days N.S.S camp under which different programmes like AIDS awareness, Literacy campaign, Dangers of drugs addiction, Female foeticide, Environmental awareness, Awareness about traffic rules, Cleanliness drive etc. are carried out extensively.
LANGUAGE SEMINAR
One day seminar on Rashtra bhasa Hindi Aur Hum under the Hindi department of the college was organised. Mr.Avnish Kumar co-ordinated the seminar where as Dr. Uday Pratap singh,Reader,Deptt.of Hindi, Govt Ranbir college,Sangrur was the chief guest.

Guru Teg Bahadur College for Women in association with Society for Research in Education & Information Technology(SREIT) is going to organize a one day work Shop on “Research Methodology And Electronic Data Processing” on 28th February 2011Monday at the college.Prof. Keshav Sharma,President of Society for Research in Education & Information Technology(SREIT),Shimla was the resource person.

Guru Teg Bahadur College for Women in collaboration with All India Association for Educational Research (AIAER) organize a one day work Shop on “Planning for Writing: Strategies for Writing Scholarly Article/Research Paper” on 6th March 2011Sunday at the college.Prof.S.B.Mohanty;General Secretary; All India Association for Educational Research conducted the workshop.Delegates from different colleges attend the workshop learn the strategies for writing research article.

DOCUMENTARY
A documentary on Farmers suicide in Punjab was demonstrated by Mr.Tom from Holland which was very effective for the pupil-teachers.
COLLEGE MEGAZINE
The pupil-teachers write different articles and the student editors of different section after editing the articles display in the wall magazine every month. The collections of different articles comes in the Annual college magazine “Parvaaz” every year. The college magazine provides a platform for the budding writers of tomorrow to demonstrate their literary talent.
FREE MEDICAL CHECK UP CAMP
A free medical check up camp was Conducted by the alumni association of the College.A team of doctors from Guru Nanak Dev dental college,Sunam visited the college And diagnose & treat the dental related problems of staff,students and community members.
Blood Donation Camp
One day voluntary Blood Donation camp was carried out on dated-13-11-2010.A team of doctors from Govt. Rajindra hospital,Patiala cameto the college and collected 38 units of blood donated by the students.
